How can gender stereotyping affect your daily life? CommentsSiobhan Wed, 06 Feb 2008 05:15:41 torie sheckler! :D Wed, 06 Feb 2008 05:20:23 Gender stereotyping can affect my daily life because if people are expecting to be something that I don't want to be they will be mad if I don't act that way. If a girl really enjoyed being a tomboy and no one accepted her for it she might be made fun of and thats not right if she really wants to be that way. Gender stereotyping can make you feel bad about yourself and make you want to be someone you aren't. LIV Wed, 06 Feb 2008 05:20:26 Gneder stereotyping can affect your daily life because I think that if you get stereotyped than it can really bring down your self confidence and it can make you want to be someone that you're not, I think that people should be who they want to be and not what other people want them to be. Izaak Wed, 06 Feb 2008 05:23:01 I think gender stereotyping can effect your life in quite a few ways. I think you can be effected negatively because it li,its what you want to do. People could make fun of you and that can really put people down. Someone might really like a certain thing but a simple negative comment about the subject can really put you down qweeeertyuiop[]\asdfghjkl;'zxcvbnm,./ Wed, 06 Feb 2008 05:24:33 It can affecet your life because people would call you names. It's not very fun because if you aren't a certain way, people think they have the right to sya bad things about you. qweeeertyuiop[]\asdfghjkl;'zxcvbnm,./ Wed, 06 Feb 2008 05:24:39 It can affecet your life because people would call you names. Like calling other people names or calling you names in different ways. Like people who treat other people differently. Other people call people name, such as " I think you are fat" and stuff like that. Siobhan Wed, 06 Feb 2008 05:26:05 Gender stereotyping can effect your daily life because people assume that, because of your gender, you have to be a certain way. Like if your a girl then other people think that your not so interested in sports and things like that. They think that because your a girl, you don't want to play sports or can't actually play sports as well as other people. Or if you're a guy, maybe people think that you can't sing or be sensitive. People think that guys should play football and should be tough, not singing or being sensitive. Maryalice Wed, 06 Feb 2008 05:28:37 Gender stereotyping can affect your daily life because it can affect the way that you think about yourself. In your life some people think that they have to be the same and they will be with gender stereotyping. All girls will like pink and all guys will like blue; this way no one will be an indiviual and everyone will be the same. If gender stereotyping keeps going as it is now the world is going to be the same and no one will be different. :] Dezirae Wed, 06 Feb 2008 05:32:14 Gender stereotyping is a way to make the opposite sex feel bad. Or to make people think that if they step out of the box, they will be called bad names. Making people behave a certain way. Mercedes Wed, 06 Feb 2008 05:33:00 It can affect ANYONES daily life. People in this world are sexist. Guys normally say girls are weak because it's a girl. They say girls only like to shop and nothing more. Girls say all boys like to do is fight and do sports. That's stereotyping. Lindsey Wed, 06 Feb 2008 09:03:28 Gender stereotyping can effect your everyday life by making you feel bad about your self. Males and Females can be hurt by this and it makes you feel that you want to be just like everyone else and then you will not like yourself because you are trying to be someone that you're not! When people talk about you or something you like it can really put you down and make you want to change into someone else. Leave a Reply |
